Maria is renowned for her exceptional skill in illustrative blackwork tattoos and ornamental designs. With a deep commitment to hard work, dedication, and continuous learning, she pours her passion and curiosity into every piece of art she creates.
Born and raised in southern Catalonia, Spain, Maria comes from a rich artistic family legacy with notable family members including Joan Llaverias, a painter, illustrator, and pioneer in Catalonia during the 1900s, and Joaquim Amat Piniella, an influential writer known for his harrowing World War II account in "K.L. Reich", based on his own experiences as a concentration camp prisoner, that has profoundly shaped her artistic vision.
Maria’s formal education includes studying Fashion Design in Tarragona and Arts and Design in Barcelona, enriching her creative skills and broadening her artistic horizons. She also dedicated over 10 years to studying music, further expanding her artistic expression.
One of the highlights of Maria’s tattoo practice is her dedication to involving clients in the creative process, ensuring their personal ideas are an essential part of the finished artwork.
Outside the studio, Maria is a talented guitarist, enjoys working out to relieve stress, and loves engaging in outdoor activities and travelling for leisure and inspiration.
