Born in Manaus, Amazon, Joao's artistic journey began with comic book illustrations. As a child, he honed his skills by copying the artwork and creating his own comics – an unconventional but powerful early art education. His teenage years brought a new passion for heavy metal music, introducing him to another world of storytelling.
Joao's unique tattoo style is heavily influenced by legendary tattoo artists, including Filip Leu, Mauricio Teodoro, Greg Irons, William Yoneyama, Junior Goussain and others.
